Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for assembling panels, laths or sheathings ((1), comprising means for assembling longitudinal edges and transverse edges, consisting of at least a male part (2) provided on a longitudinal edge and a transverse edge of said panels, laths or sheathings (1) and at least a female part (3) matching in shape provided on the other longitudinal and the transverse edge of said panels, laths or sheathings (1), the means assembling the longitudinal edges being of the type with load distribution and the longitudinal edges bearing the male and female parts extending along parallel oblique planes. Said device is characterised in that the assembling means provided on the transverse edges are also of the type with load distribution and the transverse edges extend along parallel oblique planes. The invention is more particularly applicable in the field of construction, in particular for floor, wall and ceiling coverings, in particular in the form of panels, laths or sheathings made of different materials such as wood, laminates, synthetic materials.
