Abstract:
A device (100) for assisting the heart in the event of heart failure, which device can significantly reduce adverse events induced by blood damage. The device (100) comprises: a catheter (32); a drive shaft (34) arranged in the catheter (32) in a penetrating manner; a pump (36), which can be delivered to a desired site in the heart via the catheter (32) so as to pump blood; and a drive mechanism (10) for driving the drive shaft (34) to rotate. The drive mechanism (10) comprises: a housing (12); a coil assembly (13) arranged in the housing (12), the coil assembly (13) being configured to be energized to generate a magnetic field; a rotor assembly (14) at least partially arranged in the housing (12), the rotor assembly (14) being configured to rotate under the action of the magnetic field generated by the coil assembly (13), and the drive shaft (34) being connected to the rotor assembly (14) and driven by the rotor assembly (14) to rotate; and an isolation portion for forming a first chamber (15) that accommodates the coil assembly (13) and is isolated from a fluid, wherein the coil assembly (13) is accommodated in the first chamber (15).
