Abstract:
In order to easily and inexpensively realize an elevator in which it is possible to ensure safety and convenience for users of the elevator, there is configured a remote monitoring assistance device (200) comprising: a voltage conversion circuit (201) for converting the opened/closed state of a plurality of non-voltage contacts to a voltage-contact signal, the non-voltage contacts opening and closing in accordance with a signal inputted from a constituent unit that outputs a signal in accordance with the state of an elevator (100); a data output circuit (202) for outputting, from an output port corresponding to an input port to which a signal was inputted from a voltage contact from among a plurality of input ports, text data allotted to the output port, the text data corresponding to the opened/closed state of the non-voltage contacts; and a wireless transmitter (203) for transmitting, on the basis of the text data outputted from the data output circuit (202), a text message for which a prescribed telephone number was designated as a destination.
