Abstract:
Provided are a device for automatic measurement and adjustment of inertia of a marine structure test model (4) along multiple axes, and a method for using the same. The device comprises a support mechanism (1), a swing mechanism (2), a rotation mechanism (3), and a measurement mechanism. The swing mechanism (2) can be extended, thus facilitating expansion of a measurement range, and the test model (4) can be rotated on an inertia adjustment platform, thus facilitating measurement of inertia of the test model (4) in different directions. The device integrates functions such as measurement and adjustment of the weight, center of gravity, and moment of inertia of the test model (4), and is mainly used for testing of a ship and marine structure model, as well as for other engineering fields. The device can be disassembled, conveniently stored and maintained, has improved functions, and is easy to operate, thus shortening a test cycle, enhancing test precision, and having a high practical value.
