Abstract:
To provide a device for automatically producing an environmental map in which an airborne object is used. A device for automatically producing an environmental map, provided with: a travelable-region extraction unit that, on the basis of information about the three-dimensional shape of an area for which an environmental map acquired by a sensor in an airborne object is produced, extracts a travelable region in which it is possible for a vehicle to travel in a given area; a region category determination unit for determining the category of the travelable region; a supplement-location determination unit for determining, on the basis of the travelable region and the category, whether it is necessary to measure a supplement location that supplements the travelable region; and a supplementary-measurement-location presentation unit for presenting a supplementary-measurement location.
