Abstract:
This device for automating nucleic acid amplification executes a emulsion generation step for including beads to which a nucleic acid is bonded in a water-in-oil type emulsion, a nucleic acid amplification step for amplifying the nucleic acid in the emulsion, an emulsion breaking step for breaking the emulsion, and a purification and concentration step for purifying and concentrating the amplified nucleic acid. The device for automatic nucleic acid amplification has a dispenser unit (20) provided with a dispenser (21) for dispensing solutions and/or reagents to each step, an emulsion unit (30) for executing the emulsion generation step and the emulsion breaking step, a nucleic acid amplification unit (40) for executing the nucleic acid amplification step using the emulsion generated by the emulsion unit (40), and a purification and concentration unit (50) for executing the purification and concentration step using a solution including the amplified nucleic acid obtained by the emulsion breaking step in the emulsion unit (40).
