Description:
Device for baking food products, especially rice cakes

This invention is a device for baking food products, especially rice cakes.

Devices for baking food products, especially rice cakes, are well-known and commonly used. In this type of devices, grain mix undergoes thermal treatment, and consequently it disintegrates and swells, thus new bindings within the grain structure are created.

A device is known from the KR100901739 description, in which the grain feed mechanism for baking rice cakes has a structure of a "drawer" driven by two electrical engines. Additionally, the engines propel two simultaneously moving boards with the hole for grain, which is directed to the heating area by the lever system that connects the boards to the engines. Unfortunately, in this type of devices, as a result of contact with the heads for baking, the engines driving the grain feed drawer become overheated, the drawer is jammed and it usually unblocks when the device has been cooled.

A device is also disclosed in KR100798122 description, in which both the grain feed mechanism, and the drive for jaws used in the baking device are operated by the connecting rod, as well as cams and strings that work together with it. In this mechanism, stay springs have been applied and they wear over time, which leads to blocking the device mechanisms.

Moreover, the invention description KR101030073 discloses the device for baking rice cakes, in which the gear system has been used and it consists of the belt and toothed gears, while the feeder of the spoon type, moving along an arc path, places the grain in the baking area. As a result of heating up the heads for baking, stainless steel, from which they are made, is being expanded, which makes the spoon on the rotary arm block itself. The description KR20050055578 is also known and it discloses the structure of the device for baking rice cakes, in which the baking process is controlled by means of a cam with a telescopic crosshead moving on it and controlling grain dispensing, as well as the grain feed mechanism into the baking area and jaws of the baking device. However, the use of a cam and crosshead moving on it, can be troublesome while servicing the device, and interference in the device mechanics requires performing each time a prolonged regulation of its mechanisms.

Furthermore, the solution according to KR20100098198 discloses a device with a roller chain driven by an engine or motoreducer, and this roller chain in turn sets crossheads in motion by means of cams, while the crossheads press together jaws used for baking by the use of a grain dispenser and grain feed drawer. Similarly to the case described earlier, the use of cam requires servicing works by skilled and experienced service. In addition, the electric circuits are used to control mechanisms, which due to high temperatures are subject to damage.

There are well-known solutions to food production, especially rice cake production, however, these solutions lead to defects and breakdowns. Additionally, in many cases repairs can be performed only by qualified service technicians, as the correct operation of mechanisms, for example grain feed drawer, consists in placing the drawer precisely in the baking area in order to put grain precisely in the mold and to avoid locking the drawer when the mould is being closed, as otherwise it will be damaged.

The device for baking food products, especially rice cakes, is a solution to the above listed inconveniences, according to the invention.

The device for baking food products, especially rice cakes, consists of the engine placed in the rigid casing and connected, by means of the clutch, to the toothed gear of the engine, which drives at least one baking mold by the use of the chain axle with racks fixed at its ends, as well as the connecting rod that moves vertically and that is linked to the axle. The baking mold has a heating system, which is opposite to the one driven by the chain connected with the engine gear. The end of the axle has a rack that drives, by means of the chain, the drawer moving mechanism and grain dispenser valve. Preferably, in line with the invention, the chains of the device gear mechanism are tensioned by chain tensioners.

At least one baking mold, moving vertically, is fixed to the piston that moves by sliding in the board casing, and which is combined with the connecting rod and additionally stabilized by means of the spring mechanism. The spring mechanism is configured in such a way as to counteract lifting the baking mold.

The drawer moving mechanism consists of at least one board with holes, which is placed on the guides, corresponding in the number and shape to the number and shape of the baking mold. Below the board with holes, there is the second board closing the holes. Preferably, the second board should have guides with holes. The board with holes is driven indirectly by the crank, through the bracket, and it moves by sliding on the second board that closes the holes from the bottom. The movement scope of the drawer is limited, and therefore, in the extreme front-end position position, the holes of the second board are located over the baking mold, and in the extreme static position, the holes of the second board are located under the grain dispenser valve. The crank driving the board with holes should have the rack that is in contact with the partial rack placed on the additional shaft, as well as the mandrel moving inside the bracket hole of the drawer.

The device, as per the invention, is presented on the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows the device, in line with the invention, in the general view, fig.2 shows the mechanism elements of the device, according to the invention. Fig. 3 shows the construction of grain feed drawer, fig 4 shows the construction of grain feed drawer in the extreme position over the baking molds for rice cakes. To make the figures on the drawing more visible, the roller chain, which is laid on the racks, has been omitted.

The device for baking food products, especially rice cakes, consists of the engine (1) placed in the rigid casing and connected, by means of the clutch (2), to the toothed gear (3) of the engine (1), which drives baking molds (6) by the use of the chain axle (4) with racks fixed at its ends, as well as the connecting rod (5) that moves vertically. The baking mold has a heating system, which is opposite to the one driven by the chain connected with the engine (1) gear. The end of the axle (4) has a rack (7) that drives, by means of the chain, the drawer (8) moving mechanism and grain dispenser valve (9). The chains of the device gear mechanism are tensioned by the chain tensioners (10).

The baking mold (5), moving vertically, is fixed to the piston (12) that moves by sliding in the board (11) casing and which is combined with the connecting rod (5) and additionally stabilized by means of the spring mechanism (13). The spring mechanism (13) is configured in such a way as to counteract lifting the baking mold (5).

The drawer moving mechanism (8) consists of a board (15) with holes

(16) , which is placed on the guides (14) that correspond in shape to the baking molds (5). Below the board (15) with holes (16), there is the second board (17) that closes the holes (16) The board (15) with holes (16) is driven indirectly by the crank (19), through the bracket (18) and it moves by sliding on the second board

(17) that closes the holes (16) of the board (15) from the bottom. The movement scope of the drawer (8) is limited, and therefore, in the extreme front-end position, the holes (16) of the board (15) with holes are located over the baking molds (5), and in the extreme static position, the holes (15) of the board (16) are located under the grain dispenser valve (9). The crank (19) driving the board (15) with holes (16) should have the rack (20) that is in contact with the partial rack (21) placed on the additional shaft, as well as the mandrel (22) moving inside the bracket hole (23) of the drawer (8).
