Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for bending sheet metal (12), wherein the sheet metal (12) is clamped between a movable top cheek (2) and a fixed supporting table (3) and a flange emerging from the fixing device is bent with a recessed bending tool (7) that is rotationally mounted beneath the supporting table (3) and actuated by a movable tool bench (5). In order to advantageously improve such a device in relation to prior art, the invention provides for a bending tool (7) that is supported on the top and bottom sides on a guide (15) embodied on the supporting table (3) of the machine.
