Abstract:
A device for calculating the sale price of a rental item and a method using same are disclosed. Discount rates can be determined on the basis of a rental service provision history with respect to a plurality of rental items registered in an item rental service, and the sale prices for the plurality of rental items can be calculated on the basis of the discount rates. Profits from item rental and sales in the item rental service can be optimized by means of appropriately calculating the sale prices of the rental items.
