The present invention relates to a device for providing environmental effects, a chair having the device, and a system for controlling the device, and more particularly, to a device for providing environmental effects that includes a housing, one or more effect mechanisms disposed on the housing to provide the environmental effects according to control signals of an external device, and a communication unit disposed on the housing to receive the control signals of the external device, so that the device is detachably coupled to a portion of a chair to provide the environmental effects of the effect mechanisms. According to the present invention, the device for providing environmental effects is capable of providing uniform environment effects for theater customers, irrespective of the positions of chairs, and capable of providing the environmental effects even with an existing general chair, while being just detachably coupled to the chair.
