Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for charging the electric batteries of single-track vehicles, in particular cycles, having an auxiliary electric motor, comprising at least one socket (2) connected to an electrical supply network (4) by means of a mains power switch (3) and a current measuring apparatus (6) and comprising a control apparatus (7) for the mains power switch (3), wherein said control apparatus can be controlled by means of an input and display apparatus (12). In order to prevent misuse, the socket (2) is arranged in a housing (1) accommodating a vehicle, the door (8) of said housing having a lock (9) that independently locks when the door (8) is closed and that can be opened by means of an actuating drive (10), and the actuating drive (10) of the lock (9) can be controlled according to the control of the control apparatus (7) by the input and display apparatus (12) and the mains power switch (3) can be controlled additionally according to the locking position of the lock (9).
