Abstract:
Provided is a device for cleaning objects to be cleaned, with which a rapid cleaning operation is possible with good cleaning efficiency while the danger of outflow and ignition of solvent vapor is reduced. A plurality of cleaning units are provided to simultaneously insert objects to be cleaned and perform different cleaning operations on the objects to be cleaned while the cleaning units are sequentially moved. By making each of the cleaning units sealable and also providing a single entrance/exit to the outside for the objects to be cleaned, outflow of solvent vapor to the outside is decreased to the utmost. A device for cleaning objects to be cleaned is provided with: a reference chamber (1) which has an entrance/exit (3) sealable with a lid (2) at the upper end thereof; side chambers (8, 9) which are provided at the outer periphery of the reference chamber (1) and can communicate with or be shielded from the reference chamber (1); a vertical transport mechanism (5) for delivering an object (7) to be cleaned into the reference chamber (1) and for delivering the object (7) to be cleaned out of the reference chamber (1); horizontal transport mechanisms (11, 12) which can deliver the object (7) to be cleaned into the side chambers (8, 9), and can deliver the object (7) to be cleaned out to the reference chamber (1); and shielding walls (26, 27) which are connected to the horizontal transport mechanisms (11, 12) to allow the side chambers (8, 9) to communicate with or be shielded from the reference chamber (1).
