Title:
DEVICE FOR COMPENSATING ACCELERATION FORCES BY MEANS OF IMPULSE COUPLING IN MEASURING MACHINES AND TOOL MACHINES IN AT LEAST ONE TRANSLATORY ACTIVE MACHINE AXIS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/023186
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention enables impulse coupling in measuring machines and tool machines to be used in a particularly efficient manner, comprising machine axes having relatively long translatory movements and which have high acceleration, a net load which is to be displaced along said type of axis and one or several compensation masses associated with said net load being guided in a sliding manner parallel to each other in the direction of said machine axis, and an inlet and outlet of a first drive system which can be accelerated relatively highly being provided on the net load and the compensation mass for the relative movement of said net load and compensation mass. According to the invention, at least one of the parts of said net load or said compensation load also comprise the inlet or the outlet of a second drive system with relatively low acceleration. The other side corresponding to said drive with relatively low acceleration is on the structure supporting the respective machine axis and is used for the common displacement with relatively low acceleration of said net load and compensation mass, along said supporting structure. The superposition of the movement parts with low and high acceleration enables high acceleration along said machine axis.
