Abstract:
Provided is a device for constructing a storage tank that makes it possible to transport a factory-produced storage tank to an installation location and construct the same with little labor at the installation site, as well as to reduce risks from on-site construction and shorten the construction time. The present invention is provided with a storage tank T that has been assembled by constructing, each on a base plate 10 that has been cast in a factory, a cylindrical outer tank-side plate 6 and inner tank-side plate 7, a roof part 3 provided above the outer tank-side plate 6, a bottom plate part 4 provided below the outer tank-side plate 6 and inner tank-side plate 7, and an anchor strap 20 linking the inner tank-side plate 7 and the base plate 10. The present invention is equipped with: a means for carrying out transportation to an installation site in a state where a lower surface of the base plate 10 is supported on a jack-equipped cart 36; a means for bringing the jack-equipped cart 36, in the state where the storage tank T is supported, into a space between a plurality of pedestals 42 projecting from a concrete foundation 41 that has been constructed at the installation site, and placing the base plate 10 of the storage tank T on the pedestals 42; a means for molding a column base 46 while a tank body 1 remains retained on the jack-equipped cart 36; and a means for withdrawing the jack-equipped cart 36 to outside the base plate 10 after the base plate 10 has been put in place.
