Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispenser for liquid products, such as liquid soap. The new dispenser solves a problem with emptying containers with long discharge tube. The dispenser includes a rectangular plate (5), which has a longitudinal cutting (6). There are two plate portions (7, 8) one on each side of the cutting (6). The plate (5) is formed into U-shape axially perpendicular to the cutting. One plate portion (7) is bent inwards so that it forms a U-shaped portion (7). The upper plate portion (8) has a width, which is less than a half width of a rectangular plate (5) so that the inwards bent plate portion (7) has a substantial length. The free ends (21, 22) of an operating arm (17) are mounted inside the upper plate portion (8). The operating arm (17) can be brought to contact with the inwards bent plate portion (7). There is a locating unit (24) provided for a liquid packing under the plate portion (7).

CLAIMS
1. A device for a holder to be mounted on a wall for a container for liquid products, which container can be manufactured from various materials, such as plastic, glass, paper, metal and the like, and which can have the characteristics of a bag or bottle, having an elongate sealing member that preferably is detachable and which includes a dispensing member such as a pump device that can be influenced externally, transversely and manually with a part of an influencing member such as a lever journalled in the holder, the container being designed to rest with an elongate sealing member on the holder (5), the blank for the holder (5) consisting of a substantially rectangular plate (5), having a longitudinal and a transverse direction, which plate (5) in its lengthwise direction has a longitudinally extending throughcut slot (6) with two portions (7 and 8) on each side of the slot (6) and which plate (5) is shaped substantially as a U about an axis at right angles to the slot, the plate portion (7) on one side of the slot (6) being deformed inwards so that the plate portion (7) forms a Ulike portion (7) which with its outer portion is designed to surround the elongate sealing member and restrict its lateral movement, and the plate portion (8) on the other side of the slot (6) retaining its outwardlydirected conformation and with its inner portion being designed to partially surround the container and its elongate sealing member, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the plate portion (8) on the other side of the slot (6) has a width that is less than half the width of the rectangular plate (5) so that the inwardly deformed portion has considerable longitudinal extension, i n t h a t the outwardly turned free ends of the influencing member are journalled to the inside of the plate portion (8) on the other side of the (6), i n t h a t the influencing member has a part corresponding to the greater portion (7) of the plate on one side of the slot (6), i n t h a t the last mentioned part of the influencing member can be brought into contact with said greater portion (7) of the plate on one side of the slot (6) a n d i n t h a t a positioning unit for a tubeshaped part of a packaging receptacle is arranged below the plate portion (7) on one side of the slot (6).
2. A device for a holder as claimed in claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t a support member is arranged above or around the holder to retain the container for liquid products in such a position that a liquid product can be discharged from the container.

A device for a holder as claimed in claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the support member consist of two legs, of which each upper end is connected to a respective end of a horizontal loop, preferably of metal wire, which loop is outwardly directed and girdles a container for liquid products.

A device for a holder as claimed in claim 3, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the container for liquid products is surrounded by a preferably parallelepipedic casing, which container has a discharge unit that is tubeshaped and made from a soft material, which discharge unit preferably is fixed by the positioning unit.
5. A device for a holder as claimed in claim 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the support member consists of a tubeshaped unit, the wall of which is smooth and formed by vertical rods spaced from each other or consisting of a lattice.
6. A device as claimed in claim 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the support member consists of a rear part designed to be attached to a wall, and an anterior curved part designed to be attached to the edges of the rear part thereafter so that, when the two parts are united, a tubeshaped space arises for the container for liquid products and so that the two parts, when they are disengaged, form an angle of preferably 90° with each other.
7. A device as claimed in claim 6, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the anterior curved part must be displaced upwards before it can be swivelled out and to expose the holder.
8. A device as claimed in claim 8, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the rear part has flanges along its longitudinal edges, each flange being outwardly directed and each flange having a closed track for a hinged attachment arrangement and a track with an open end for a guide pin.
9. A device as claimed in claim 6, c h a r a c t e r i z e d i n t h a t the support member has a preferably lockable sealing lid.
Description:
DEVICE FOR CONTAINER FOR LIQUID PRODUCTS The present invention relates to a device for a holder for a container for liquid products. Such a container can have the character of a bag having a sealing member attached or screwed on to it in some known manner, which sealing member usually has the character of a short cylinder and an opening nozzle. The cylinder itself contains a member for dispensing the contents of the container. This member is influenced by manual movement in the form of a transversal force applied to a yielding part in the sealing member. The dispensing member usually consists of a pump device. The container can also have the character of a bottle of any desired shape. Such a container is usually placed upside down with the sealing member directed downwards. The container with the sealing member is then usually placed in a holder having a movable lever that in one way or another can influence the dispensing member manually. Said holder has usually consisted of a wire frame and this is manufactured easily and simply by wire bending and by certain welding procedures. Because of the high labour costs, holders consisting of wire frames are relatively expensive and it is desirable to reduce the costs of holders.

A known holder for containers of the kind mentioned above that is distinctly less expensive to manufacture than one of a wire frame]. This is achieved by using a rectangular plate that is provided in its longitudinal direction with a through-cut slot. The plate is deformed in the shape of a U and the portion on one side of the slot has thereafter been deformed inwards so that a tube-shaped passage is obtained for the cylindrical sealing member with the dispensing member. The sealing member is supported by the deformed plate on two opposite sides and, further, the dispensing member is expose, thanks to a portion of the plate being deformed inwards. A lever is

attached to the deformed plate and has a part contacting the yielding dispensing member.

The present invention is distinguished from other known devices and characterized in that it enables the evacuation of a container of liquid products in cases where the container has a relatively long discharging tube. This is achieved by the container with the long tube being placed in the holder in such a way that the greater part of the long tube becomes exposed and, further, that the influencing member has a longer portion that can in brought into contact with substantially the entire tube.

A further development of the present invention is the arrangement, above the holder, of a tube-like unit that can be attached to a wall, which tube-like unit can have various cross-sections. It can be made of any suitable material whatsoever and the surface layer of the material can be smooth. The surface layer can alternatively consist of a number of vertical rods spaced from each other and the unit can alternatively be formed by a net.

An additional object of the invention is to create a casing designed in such a way that it prevents the theft of a container filled with a liquid product. Said casing consists of a flat plate provided with two flanges.

This plate is suitably attached to a wall. A curved outer part is arranged on said plate with flanges, the bottom part of the outer casing being journalled on the flanges in such a way that the journalling members can move in-tracks of limited extension. Further, at its upper end, the curved outer casing has two pins, each co-operating with its own track in the two flanges, both tracks being open at their upper ends so that the pins can leave the tracks, allowing the outer casing to be pivoted out to form an angle of about 90° with the attachment plate. Said casing can also be made lockable.

Further characteristics applicable to the present invention are disclosed in the claims set out below.

The present invention will be further described with reference to nine drawings, where Figure 1 shows a known holder, Figure 2 shows a blank for manufacturing the holder in accordance with Figure 1, Figure 3 shows a transformed holder in accordance with the present invention, Figure 4 shows the holder in Figure 3 with a tube-shaped discharging device, Figure 5 shows a casing for a holder in accordance with the present invention, where the holder is tube-shaped?? ? and where the cross-section can be of various types, where the casing can be manufactured from any material whatsoever and can be of a smooth material, where the casing alternatively can consist of a number of rods spaced from each other, or where the casing can consist of a lattice, Figure 6 shows a casing that completely encloses the container with the liquid product and is also lockable, Figure 7 shows the casing in Figure 6 in a first stage of being opened, Figure 8 shows the casing in Figure 6 in a fully open position, and Figure 9 shows one of the two closed tracks for journalling the curved outer casing.

Figures 1 and 2 show a known holder and the requisite material for manufacturing the holder. In manufacturing the holder, a rectangular plate is provided with a central slot 6, leaving two plate-shaped portions 7 and 8 on either side. Holes 9 and 10 are also provided for

attaching the deformed plate. The plate in accordance with Figure 2 is deformed as illustrated in Figure 1 and the plate 5 will then be shaped like a U. The plate portion to the right of the slot 6 forms the upper portion 8 of the holder and the plate portion to the left of the slot 6 forms in the inwardly-deformed wall 7, which acts as an abutment wall against the discharge part of a container for liquid products. Two rods 1 and 2 with an arc-shaped part 3 issue from the deformed unit 5 for the purpose of enabling a bag or bottle to be introduced between the arc-shaped part and the straight parts down to the inwardly deformed wall 7. The portions of the packaging receptacle located within the inwardly deformed portion of the holder are influenced by the control arm 17, which has two lateral arms 19 and 20, which at their free ends have pins 21 and 22 journalled in holes 11 and 12 in the deformed metal plate 5. In accordance with the invention, a new holder has been developed that differs somewhat from the holder in accordance with Figure 1 in that the holder portion 8 has been considerably shortened and further in that the influencing member is arranged differently inasmuch as it has a longer flat straight part 23 that is brought substantially into contact with a tube-shaped part 25 which, in addition, requires a support 24 for its free end. The most significant aspect of the holders in accordance with Figures 3 and 4 is that they are suitable for packaging receptacles containing liquid products and having a long tube as a discharge tube.

Figure 5 shows a device similar to the one in accordance with Figure 4.

It has a tube-shaped casing of any desired shape, in which casing the contents of the carton in Figure 4 can be placed. The casing can have a smooth surface and can consist of a number of parallel rods arranged one after the other or of a latticework. In certain cases, it is desirably to surround a container of liquid products with a protective casing to protect the container of liquid products from malicious damage. For this purpose, a bipartite casing is employed consisting of a flat part 31

with two lateral flanges 35 and 36 that co-operate with a curved casing 30. This is provided at its lower end with bearing journals 26 running in respective tracks 34 that are closed, that is to say that the bearing journals 26 are displaceable from one end of the track to the its other end. When the curved part 30 is swivelled down, the pins 27 will engage the tracks 32 and 33, which have openings. Thus, if the curved part 30 is swivelled towards the part 31, the pins 27 will co- operate with the tracks 32 and 33. In its folded position, the entire curved part 30 can be displaced to the lower end of the tracks 34. The curved part 30 can in this position be locked to the flat part 31 so that the container with liquid products becomes inaccessible to malicious damage. To open the curved outer casing, it must be moved a distance upwards, as illustrated in Figure 7, before it can be swivelled out to assume a position at right angles to the part 31. The reason for this upward motion is to protect the actual holder device when the curved casing is folded down. It should be evident that the casing described in Figures 6,7 and 9, may very well be employed with holder devices other that the one revealed in the present description.
