Abstract:
A device control method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a notification message sent by a household control apparatus, the message comprising the following information item: address information of the household control apparatus; receiving target object quality data sent by a household device, wherein the data is obtained by means of quality measurement on a target object by the household device, and the household device comprises a household device bound with the household control apparatus or a household device disposed in a specified area where the household control apparatus is located; and when it is determined that the target object quality data is lower than a threshold, sending device control prompt information to the household control apparatus according to the address information of the household control apparatus, so as to prompt a user of the household control apparatus to start the household device belonging to the user. By means of the device control method and apparatus, the household device can be correspondingly used according to the object quality state, and effective application of the household device is realized.
