Abstract:
A device control system (10) equipped with a measurement unit (25), a storage unit (32), an extraction unit (33), a determination unit (34), and a presentation unit (36). The measurement unit (25) measures the power consumption amount of multiple branch circuits (12) to each of which an electric device (23) is connected. The storage unit (32) stores the measured power consumption amounts. On the basis of the stored power consumption amounts, the extraction unit (33) extracts from the multiple electric devices (23) a device for which power is to be conserved. On the basis of the stored power consumption amounts, the determination unit (34) calculates a distribution for the usage end time of the device for which power is to be conserved, and, on the basis of the calculated distribution, determines a scheduled presentation time for advice information for suggesting that the device for which power is to be conserved be turned off. The presentation unit (36) presents the advice information at the scheduled presentation time that has been determined.
