Abstract:

This device for controlling an automatic transmission is provided with a first friction fastening element that fastens at a first gear shift stage and that releases at a second gear shift stage. By means of a changed-mind shift determination means, when during shifting from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage, before starting an inertia phase, there has been a shift request from the second gear shift stage to the first gear shift stage by an automatic shift means (9A) that executes a shift to a gear shift stage automatically set on the basis of driving conditions, the shift request is prohibited. Meanwhile, when during shifting from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage, before starting the inertia phase, there has been a shift request from the second gear shift stage to the first gear shift stage by a manual shift means (9B) that executes shifting to a gear shift stage set by means of a manual operation, the shift request is permitted. As a result, it is possible to execute shifting control in accordance with driver intentions while suppressing the occurrence of shocks or racing.
