Abstract:
A device for controlling charging-discharging, provided with: a generated power amount calculation unit that calculates the expected amount of power to be generated, which is the power to be generated by the power generating unit in the future, at a predetermined interval; a consumed power amount calculation unit that calculates the expected amount of power consumption, which is the amount of power to be consumed in the future by the electric power load that consumes the power generated by the power generating unit, at a predetermined interval; a surplus power period judgment unit that judges the period within which power will be surplus, which is the period within which the expected amount of power to be generated exceeds the expected amount of power consumption; a surplus power amount calculation unit that calculates the expected amount of surplus power, which is the amount of power resulting from subtracting the expected amount of power consumption from the expected amount of power to be generated, during the period within which power will be surplus; and a charge-discharge control unit that controls the charging/discharging of the battery, so as to make the remaining amount of electricity in the battery, at the beginning of the period within which power will be surplus, be equal to the amount resulting from subtracting the expected amount of surplus power from a predetermined amount of charge.
