Abstract:
A device for controlling fuel injection in an internal combustion engine (11) provided with an electromagnetically driven fuel injection valve (21) is provided with a drive unit (36) for supplying electric power to terminals (P1, P2) of the fuel injection valve to open the valve, a current detection unit (61) for detecting the drive current channeled to the fuel injection valve by the opening of the valve, a voltage detection unit (62) for detecting a terminal voltage, which is the voltage of the terminal (P2), a correction unit (35) for correcting the power supply from the drive unit so that a desired value is met by the actual value of drive current detected by the current detection unit, and valve-closing detection units (35, 36) for detecting the timing at which the fuel injection valve is closed on the basis of the terminal voltage detected by the voltage detection unit when the power supply by the drive unit has been corrected by the correction unit.
