Abstract:
This device for controlling a hybrid vehicle is characterized by being provided with: an engine idling means that, by means of an engine, maintains the engine rotation speed at an idle rotation speed; a motor idling means that, by means of a motor/generator, maintains the engine rotation speed at an idle rotation speed; a switch means that, in accordance with the driving state of the hybrid vehicle, switches between executing engine idling control or motor idling control; and an idling control transition means that, when having switched from motor idling control to engine idling control during idle driving, causes the portion of the motor/generator load torque that had been input to the engine in order to maintain the engine rotation speed at the idle rotation speed during motor idling control to be added to the engine output torque, transitioning to engine idling control.
