Abstract:
A device for controlling an internal combustion engine is provided with a combustion chamber in which a tumble flow occurs, and a spark plug for creating a plug discharge channel in the combustion chamber during ignition. The device for controlling the internal combustion engine is also provided with a flow-imparting means for imparting a flow for elongating the plug discharge channel after the tumble flow has dissipated.
