Abstract:
A device for controlling a vehicle opening/closing element is provided with a drive unit configured so as to drive an opening/closing element of a vehicle, and a control unit configured so as to control the drive unit. In response to detection of the inputting of an outside force meant to accelerate the opening/closing element in operation, the control unit controls the drive unit so as to increase the operating speed of the opening/closing element. The drive unit determines that the external force meant to accelerate the opening/closing element has been inputted if, as one example, the rate of acceleration of the opening/closing element in an operating direction reaches a predetermined value or higher.
