Abstract:
The invention concerns a member coupling device (4) comprising a base body (6) provided with a connecting endpiece (24) for coupling the member, an axial groove (30) being provided in the groove (30), which includes a locking tip (54) and which axially mobile between active and inactive positions. In the active position, the locking tip (54) projects on the connecting endpiece (24) under the action of locally co-operating surfaces (32, 52) of the locking element (48) and the groove (30). In the inactive position, the locking tip (54) is radially mobile in the groove between a radially outer position towards which it is elastically stressed and a radially inner position wherein it is retracted into the groove (30). The invention is applicable to hand tool extensions.
