Abstract:
This device (1) for creating a card deck is provided with: a card reading device (23) for determining the suit and rank of playing cards (10) sent from a card set unit (14), by reading the suit and rank inscribed on the playing cards (10) or the identification code (type code information (106)) that displays the suit and rank and is included on the playing cards; a sorting device (26) provided with a plurality of sorting arms (24) for switching the direction of movement of the playing cards (10) for which suit and rank has been determined, and rotary solenoids (25) for rotating and powering the sorting arms (24); and a plurality of card stockers (27-1, 27-2, 27-3) for stocking each playing card (10) for which the direction of movement has been switched by the sorting device (26). As a result, a device is provided for automatically creating a card deck that has the prescribed number of cards used in a card game, without excess or deficiency.
