Abstract:
A crystallization device is provided with which it is possible to efficiently obtain purified acrylic acid having high purity. The crystallization device is for separating an acrylic-acid-containing solution into a mother liquor and purified acrylic acid, and comprises a crystallizer having a discharge port through which a mother liquor and purified acrylic acid are alternately taken out, a feed line through which the acrylic-acid-containing solution is fed to the crystallizer, and recovery lines which have been connected to the discharge port and through which the mother liquor and the purified acrylic acid are alternately recovered from the crystallizer, the recovery lines having, disposed therein, switch members each comprising a ball valve or gate valve.
