Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/069860
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for defogging a window glass of a vehicle and a method for defogging a window glass using the same, and the objective is to prevent the unnecessary operation of a defogging device and the unnecessary energy consumption caused thereby, thereby improving the gasoline mileage of a vehicle, by determining whether a window glass is fogged on the basis of the visual range of a driver, and precisely controlling whether and when the defogging device is operated on the basis of the determined result. To this end, the present invention provides a device for defogging a window glass of a vehicle which enters the defogging mode to remove the fog of a window glass when the window glass is fogged, comprising: a relative humidity sensing portion for sensing the relative humidity of a window glass of the visual range of a driver seat and the relative humidity of a window glass of the visual range of a front passenger seat, respectively; and a control portion for controlling whether the defogging mode is entered by determining whether a window glass is fogged according to the relative humidity of a window glass of the visual range of a driver seat and the relative humidity of a window glass of the visual range of a front passenger seat which are inputted from the relative humidity sensing portion.
