Abstract:
The aim of the invention is a device for detecting the approach of a vortex ring state for a rotary-wing aerodyne (10), said detection device comprising a set of vibration sensors (16a, 16b, 16c) configured to be distributed in or over the aerodyne (10), and a data processing unit (20) configured for the real-time reception of measurement data originating from the sensors, for processing these data for real-time computation of the vibration spectrum of the aerodyne (10), for real-time detection or non-detection, through vibration analysis, of the approach of a vortex ring state as a function of the computed vibration spectrum, and for the transmission of an alarm in the event of the detection of the approach of a vortex ring state.
