Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for detecting departure from a protected area using an RF system, which device gives practical form to an arrangement wherein RF transmitters can be placed on clothing such as garments, hats and shoes and on personal accessories ("clothing and accessories" hereinbelow) so as to discern, in a zoned fashion, the distance from the RF transmitter which changes as the distance between the RF transmitter and an RF receiver changes, and the invention proposes a specific arrangement for placing RF transmitters on clothing and accessories such that RF transmitters can be placed in a relatively straightforward and stable fashion. The present invention is an RF system which comprises an RF receiver held by a protector in an RF module, and in which an RF transmitter that communicates with the same is provided on an object of protection such that distancing and departure of the object of protection from a protected area can be detected by means of communication with the RF module; wherein the RF transmitter is incorporated in the clothing/accessory worn by the object of protection, and a protective casing is formed on the outside of the RF transmitter so as to ward off the ingress of moisture and shocks applied to the RF transmitter.
