Abstract:
This device for detecting a driving incapacity state of a driver is provided with: an inclination detection unit (64) that detects, on the basis of an image of a driver's seat captured by an imaging device (21) mounted in a vehicle (10), the inclination (θ) of a head portion, which is higher than the neck of the driver, relative to a body portion, which is lower than the neck of the driver; and a collapsed posture state detection unit (72) that, when the inclination (θ) of the head portion detected by the inclination detection unit (64) is larger than a relative inclination threshold (Th1) during traveling of the vehicle (10), detects that the driver is incapable of driving.
