Abstract:
In the present invention, a standard plug (BP) is connected to a distribution panel (DB) side of a cable (FC) to be inspected, and a measurement plug (SP) is connected to a wall socket (CW) connected to the cable. The voltage drop for each cable conductor of the cable to be inspected is computed from the plugs, the quality of the cable to be inspected is determined on the basis of the amount of difference in the voltage drop for each cable conductor, and the result is displayed. Connection defects can be detected without power interruption by connecting a load resistance and allowing a load current to flow. Working efficiency is increased in the present invention by connecting the standard plug to a wall socket that is wired to a branch breaker in a circuit other than that of the branch breaker wired to the cable (FC) to be inspected.
