Abstract:
Device for dimensional analysis of particles (5) positioned in a substantially plane area (8) including means for sampling these particles (5), a means (6) for diluting them, a means for positioning (7) said particles (5) in the substantially plane area (8), a camera (9) observing the latter area (8), means for displacing the camera (9) in relation to the substantially plane zone (8), an electronic circuit (11) for processing data provided by the camera (9) and a processor (12) for analyzing data provided by the electronic circuit (12). The present invention is especially suitable for analysis of paper pulp fibres and for automatic control of a paper pulp refiner.
