Abstract:
The invention relates to the device for discharging of waste, which is meant particularly for lifting and transferring waste to a refuse platform (K), whereby the device comprises an auxiliary frame (1) to be supported in connection with the refuse platform and a refuse handling arrangement (4) to be moved in connection with the auxiliary frame by a lift arrangement (3) operated by auxiliary power in order to lift waste received in the refuse handling arrangement in connection with the auxiliary frame in connection with an upper edge of a discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform, to move the waste to be disposed of to the refuse platform by turning (w) the refuse handling arrangement around an essentially horizontal axis by means of driving means (5) operated by auxiliary power. The device for discharging of waste is arranged to be supported essentially on the refuse platform (K) in order to move the refuse handling arrangement (4) essentially in a vertical direction (h) in connection with the auxiliary frame (1), being supported on the discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform. The device comprises furthermore a transfer arrangement (6) operated by auxiliary power in order to enable changing of a discharge point (pk) of the refuse handling arrangement (4) in respect with the discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform in a movement direction (p) of the transfer arrangement.

Claims

1. Device for discharging of waste, which is meant particularly for lifting and transferring waste to a refuse platform (K) , whereby the device comprises an auxiliary frame (1) to be supported in connection with the refuse platform and a refuse handling arrangement (4) to be moved in connection with the auxiliary frame by a lift arrangement (3) operated by auxiliary power in order to lift waste received in the refuse handling arrangement in connection with the auxiliary frame in connection with an upper edge of a discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform, to move the waste to be disposed of to the refuse platform by turning (w) the refuse handling arrangement around an essentially horizontal axis by means of driving means (5) operated by auxiliary power, characterized in that, the device for discharging of waste is arranged to be supported essentially on the refuse platform (K) in order to move the refuse handling arrangement (4) essentially in a vertical direction (h) in connection with the auxiliary frame (1), being supported on the discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform, and that, the device comprises a transfer arrangement (6) operated by auxiliary power in order to enable changing of a discharge point (pk) of the refuse handling arrangement (4) in respect with the discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform in a movement direction (p) of the transfer arrangement.

Device for discharging of waste according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a movement arrangement (7) to move the auxiliary frame (1), preferably by means of a slide rail arrangement (7a) or in a corresponding manner, sidewards (s) along the discharge wall (Ka) of the refuse platform and to lock the same in place at any given discharging point (Ps) .

3. Device for discharging of waste according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that, it is arranged as an essentially built-in entirety with the refuse platform (K) or with one or more of its walls (Ka) .

Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-3, characterized in that, the refuse platform (K) is provided with a storing arrangement (8) in order to keep at least the refuse handling arrangement (4) in a protected manner in connection with the refuse platform (K) , such as in a closable space (8a) arranged therein.

Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-4, characterized in that, the lift arrangement (3) and the transfer arrangement (6) coupled with the refuse handling arrangement (4) are carried out essentially in a built-in manner, such as by two or more structural parts (3a, 6a) , being movable with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction (h/p) thereof on telescope principle or in a corresponding manner as an entirety with adjustable length.

Device for discharging of waste according to claim 5, characterized in that, driving means (2) operating the entirety formed of the lift arrangement (3) and the transfer arrangement (6) are carried out hyd- raulically, such as by two cylinders (2a) operating in opposite directions, mechanically, such as by a gearwheel-pinion rack, chain-chain wheel arrangement, and/or a corresponding manner.

Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-6, characterized in that, the driving means (5) turning (w) the refuse handling arrangement (4) to its discharge position are coupled by a first end thereof with the auxiliary frame (1) and by a second end thereof in a power transmitting manner with the refuse handling arrangement (4), in order to turn the refuse handling arrangement (4) by rotating (w) the same in an essentially vertical plane with respect to a joint point (N) coupling the same with the auxiliary frame.

Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-7, characterized in that, the refuse handling arrangement (4) comprises a troughlike receiving part (4a) with a closed bottom and guides (4b) existing or extending in the longitudinal direction (p) in front thereof in order to guide passage of the waste to be disposed of when the same is being discharged.

Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-7, characterized in that, the refuse handling arrangement (4) comprises support (4c) and attachment means (4d) in order to couple a separate waste trough, a refuse container (4e) equipped with wheels and/or the like therewith.

10. Device for discharging of waste according to any of the preceding claims 1-9, characterized in that, the refuse handling arrangement (4), such as a receiving part (4a), guides (4b), support (4c) and/or attachment means (4d) belonging thereto, is/are arranged collapsible and/or dismountable in one or more parts on quick-release principle.

Description:
Device for discharging of waste

The invention relates to a device for discharging of waste, which is particularly meant for lifting and transferring waste to a refuse platform. The device for discharging of waste comprises an auxiliary frame to be supported in connection with the refuse platform and a refuse handling arrangement to be moved in connection with the auxiliary frame by a lift arrangement operated by auxiliary power in order to lift waste received in the refuse handling arrangement in connection with the auxiliary frame in connection with an upper edge of a discharge wall of the refuse platform, to move the waste to be disposed of to the refuse platform by turning the refuse handling arrangement around an essentially horizontal axis by means of driving means operated by auxiliary power.

At present, in the above mentioned context, e.g. a "tipping" device supported on the ground in front of the discharge wall may be used to lift e.g. a waste barrel with wheels over the edge of the refuse platform by turning the waste barrel around an essentially horizontal axis. In this solution, the trajectories are large due to the large rotating movement of the waste barrel, which easily imposes a safety risk when using a device of the above mentioned type.

On the other hand, at present on the market, there is also a movable discharge device with wheels to be used for the same purpose that comprises an auxiliary frame in connection with the discharge wall to be supported on the ground in a sloping posture through which the actual waste handling arrangement is arranged to move to be turned around its horizontal axis in order to discharge the waste thereof to the refuse platform. On the market there is also a discharge device that comprises a base structure to be mounted on the ground in front of the discharge wall of the refuse platform, which base structure comprises an auxiliary frame coupled therewith on which a waste handling arrangement moving vertically and, akin to the above mentioned solutions, turning around its horizontal axis is arranged in order to discharge waste thereof to the refuse platform.

Common in all the above mentioned waste discharging devices is that they are all mounted on the ground, which requires first of all transporting and mounting of the same with sufficiently heavy accessory. On the other hand, they require setting the refuse platform on a spot where the mounting is possible to be made sturdy or the ground must be worked prior to mounting. A common problem to all known waste discharging devices is also that their waste handling arrangements only discharge waste by "tipping" over the edge of the refuse platform, which requires moving the waste manually on the refuse platform in order to fill it evenly, which action in itself naturally imposes a work safety risk. Therefore, the present solutions may not easily be used without the need of heavy accessory in mounting/moving them or without working the ground prior to their mounting. Also, manual moving of the waste on the refuse platform to be filled evenly is in itself an excessive, arduous and hazardous procedure.

It is an aim of the device for discharging of waste according to the present invention to achieve a decisive improvement in the problems described above and thus to raise essentially the level of prior art. In order to carry out this aim, the device for discharging of waste according to the invention is mainly characterized by that it is arranged to be supported essentially on the refuse platform in order to move the refuse handling arrangement essentially in a vertical direction in connection with the auxiliary frame, being sup- ported on the discharge wall of the refuse platform, and that, the device comprises a transfer arrangement operated by auxiliary power in order to enable changing of a discharge point of the refuse handling arrangement in respect with the discharge wall of the refuse platform in a movement direction of the transfer arrangement .

As the most important advantages of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention is the simplicity of its structures and the efficiency of discharging of waste therewith, firstly thanks to the way the discharging of waste to the refuse platform may be operated without the need for manual moving of the waste on the refuse platform, which in itself removes a significant work safety risk compared to the present devices for discharging of waste. On the other hand, because the device for discharging of waste according to the present invention is supported on the refuse platform, assembling of or moving the device for discharging of waste at the waste discharging area, e.g. at a construction site, does not require using other machinery in addition to the device itself, nor does the device restrict the positioning of the refuse platform unlike the other solutions, which enables avoiding of accessory processing of the ground. As an advantageous embodiment of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention in practice, it comprises a movement arrangement in order to move the auxiliary frame, e.g. by a means of a slide rail arrangement or in a corresponding manner, sidewards along the discharge wall of the refuse platform and to lock the same in place at any given discharging point. The user friendliness of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention at the work area is furthermore intensified with arranging the same in an essentially built- in entirety with the refuse platform or with one or more of its walls. Therefore the device for discharging of waste according to the invention brings about a decisive improvement in handling of waste and, at the same time removes work safety risks and accessory work stages affiliated with the present solutions. With the device for discharging of waste according to the invention, productivity of work and efficiency of discharging of waste my be improved decisively especially because of the optimal filling of the refuse platform without the need for manual moving of the waste on the refuse platform.

Advantageous embodiments of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention have been presented in the dependent claims related thereto.

In the following description, the invention is illustrated in detail with reference to the appended drawings , in which figure 1 presents as a perspective view an advantageous device for discharging of waste according to the invention in connection with a discharge wall of a refuse platform, figure 2 presents as a perspective view viewed from the front of an advantageous refuse handling arrangement of the device for discharging of waste according to figure 1, in figure 3 is shown as a perspective view viewed from behind one mid-phase of a part ensemble of the device for discharging of waste according to figure 1 when discharging of waste, in figure 4 is shown furthermore as a perspective view viewed from the front an actual waste discharging situation according to figure 3, in figure 5 is shown as a perspective view an advantageous accessory function of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention, in figure 6 is shown as a perspective view viewed from the behind of the device for discharging of waste an advantageous working device solution using the device for discharging of waste, in figure 7 is shown as a perspective view viewed in a downward slanting view from behind an alternative embodiment of a refuse handling arrangement in a corresponding waste discharging situation as in figure 4, in figure 8 is shown as a perspective view a situation according to figure 7 viewed from the opposite wall of the discharge wall of the refuse platform, and in figure 9 is shown as a perspective view a situation according to figure 8 viewed from the front of the discharge wall of the refuse platform.

The invention relates to the device for discharging of waste, which is meant particularly for lifting and transferring waste to a refuse platform K, whereby the device comprises an auxiliary frame 1 to be supported in connection with the refuse platform and a refuse handling arrangement 4 to be moved in connection with the auxiliary frame by a lift arrangement 3 operated by auxiliary power in order to lift waste received in the refuse handling arrangement in connection with the auxiliary frame in connection with an upper edge of a discharge wall Ka of the refuse platform, to move the waste to be disposed of to the refuse platform by turning w the refuse handling arrangement around an essentially horizontal axis ' by means of driving means 5 operated by auxiliary power. The device for discharging of waste is arranged to be supported essentially on the refuse platform K in order to move the refuse handling arrangement 4 essentially in a vertical direction h in connection with the auxiliary frame 1, being supported on the discharge wall Ka of the refuse platform. The device comprises furthermore a transfer arrangement 6 operated by auxiliary power in order to enable changing of a discharge point pk of the refuse handling arrangement 4 in respect with the discharge wall Ka of the refuse platform in a movement direction p of the transfer arrangement. This makes possible filling of the refuse platform at each discharging point Ps by moving the refuse handling arrangement 4 by the transfer arrangement 6 at a discharge point pk to be filled at any given time.

As an advantageous embodiment of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention especially with reference to figures 1, 5 and 9, it comprises a movement arrangement 7 to move the auxiliary frame 1, advantageously by means of a slide rail arrangement 7a or in a corresponding manner, sidewards s along the discharge wall Ka of the refuse platform and to lock the same in place at any given discharging point Ps .

Furthermore, as an advantageous embodiment the device for discharging of waste is according to above men- tioned figures arranged as an essentially built-in entirety with the refuse platform K or with one or more of its walls Ka .

As a further advantageous embodiment particularly with reference to figures 1 and 5 the refuse platform K is provided with a storing arrangement 8 in order to keep at least the refuse handling arrangement 4 in a protected manner in connection with the refuse platform K, such as in a closable space 8a arranged therein. Therewith particularly with reference to figure 5, the refuse handling arrangement 4 is assembled in a rotating manner z to an intermediate frame VR coupling the same to the movement arrangement 7.

Furthermore, as an advantageous embodiment of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention particularly with reference to figures 3, 4, 6 and 7, the lift arrangement 3 and the transfer arrangement 6 coupled with the refuse * handling arrangement 4 are carried out essentially in a built-in manner, such as by two or more structural parts 3a, 6a, being movable with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction h/p thereof on telescope principle or in a corresponding manner as an entirety with adjustable length.

Furthermore, as an advantageous embodiment the driving means 2 operating the entirety formed of the lift arrangement 3. and the transfer arrangement 6 are carried out advantageously hydraulically e.g. in a principle described in figures 3, 6, 7 and 9, such as by two cylinders 2a operating in opposite directions. When implemented in this manner, the movement of the lift arrangement and the transfer arrangement 3, 6, may be executed with a short and compact cylinder entity.

Alternative to the above manner, it is naturally possible to arrange the driving means 2 working mechanically, such as by a straight pull arrangement with a gearwheel -pinion rack or with a chain-chain wheel arrangement, when using stepmotors using the same the functions of both the lift arrangement and the transfer arrangement may be arranged steplessly and with pre- cisely adjustable and lockable movement lengths.

Furthermore as an advantageous embodiment of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention particularly with reference to the implementations presented in figures 3, 4, 7 and 9, the drive cylinder 5 turning w the refuse handling arrangement 4 to its discharge position are coupled by a first end thereof with the auxiliary frame 1 and by a second end thereof in a power transmitting manner with the refuse handling arrangement 4, in order to turn the refuse handling arrangement 4 by rotating w the same in an essentially vertical plane with respect to a joint point N coupling the same with the auxiliary frame.

With arrangements presented in the appended drawings the auxiliary functions regarding the unloading of the refuse handling arrangement 4 may be executed in an extremely simple manner by using only three cylinders in a way that lifting, moving and tilting of the same is possible to be arranged with precisely adjustable movements .

Particularly with reference to the advantageous embodiment presented in figures 3 and 4 the refuse handling arrangement 4 comprises a trough- like receiving part 4a with a closed bottom and guides 4b existing or extending in the longitudinal direction p in front thereof in order to guide passage of the waste to be disposed of when the same is being discharged. With respect to the above e.g. in figures 1, 2, 7-9 the refuse handling arrangement 4 comprises support 4c and attachment means 4d in order to couple a separate waste trough, a refuse container 4e equipped with wheels and/or the like therewith.

In this context, as a further advantageous embodiment particularly with reference to figure 5 the refuse handling arrangement 4, such as a receiving part 4a, guides 4b, support 4c and/or attachment means 4d belonging thereto, is/are arranged collapsible and/or dis- mountable in one or more parts on quick-release principle. With the above mentioned arrangements minimizing the need of space of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention in its stand-by position is enabled, which enables e.g. minimizing the size of the storing compartment 8a presented in figure 5.

It is clear that the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown or described above, but it can be modified within the basic idea of the invention in very many ways. It is thus first of all clear that the refuse platform may be a structure applicable to collecting and transferring of any type of waste, such as a pallet, demountable platform, shipping container, railway carriage or any waste transferring structure equipped with wheels or caterpillar tracks. On the other hand, the functions of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention powered by auxiliary power may be executed with work devices functioning with a pressure medium, such as hydraulically and/or pneumatically, electrically and/or with a fuel engine. The device for discharging of waste according to the invention may be exploited in addition to waste handling at construction sites at a variety of waste discharging sites, such as e.g. at the waste handling of industrial factories etc. In addition, it is possible to arrange the device for discharging of waste according to the invention to an already working refuse platform, e.g. with an auxiliary structure mounted on the original platform's side wall that enables post-assembling of the device for discharging of waste when needed with its movement arrangements and/or storing arrangements etc. Working and using means of the device for discharging of waste according to the invention powered by auxiliary power may be executed, as described above, e.g. alternative to the so called block cylinder arrangement presented in the appended drawings by chain, belt or universal joint arrangements or the like generating the same function. In addition, it is naturally possible to exploit e.g. spindle driven direct drives for executing one or more functions of the device for discharging of waste with centralized operating arrangements .
