Abstract:
The invention concerns a device comprising: a low-capacity reservoir (2) adapted to contain the dose of batter, and whereof the base is provided with a sealing valve normally closed; a mobile support, supporting the reservoir (2), adapted to be manually moved, so as to occupy selectively, either an inactive position wherein the reservoir is spaced apart from the zone above the cooking plate, or an active position wherein it is located above the plate; a lever (15-16) adapted to control the opening of the valve when the reservoir is located in active position, so as to dispense almost instantaneously the whole dose of batter which is contained therein onto the cooking plate; return means adapted to close automatically the valve when the dispensing has been completed, a cyclic system feeding the reservoir in single-unit doses of batter from a pan with significantly higher capacity than that of the reservoir (2), via a flexible duct (7a, 7b) and a pump (6). The invention is useful as cooking equipment for catering, in particular for pancake houses.
