Abstract:
A plurality of drive circuits (110, 210) respectively drive a plurality of power semiconductor elements (100, 200) connected in parallel. Each of the drive circuits includes a control command unit (112), a current detector (111), a differentiator (113), and an integrator (115). The current detector (111) detects a gate current, which flows into the gate terminal of the power semiconductor element after the control command unit (112) outputs a turn-on command. The differentiator (113) time-differentiates the gate current detected by the current detector (111). The integrator (115) time-integrates the gate current detected by the current detector (111). A determining unit (1000) determines whether or not any of the plurality of power semiconductor elements is in an overcurrent state on the basis of the differential value and the integral value in each of the drive circuits.
