Abstract:
The invention relates to electrotechnical engineering, in particular to devices for electric arc welding and to a method for producing the magnetic core of said devices. In order to reduce the mass of the device and improve the technical and economic characteristics thereof, in one variant, the inventive device for electric arc welding comprises an electric transformer and a choke whose primary windings are series connected for connecting to a variable voltage network and forming a common winding which is arranged on the first part of the magnetic core thereof. A secondary winding of the transformer is arranged on the second part of the magnetic core and embodied in such a way that the XX cross-section thereof saturates the magnetic core. Said secondary winding is used for connecting to electrode and earthing terminals. An additional winding of the choke coil is arranged on the third part of the magnetic core in such a way that it is possible to carry out a connection in daisy chain in order to regulate the arc current according to the common winding.
