Abstract:
A device for electrokinetic separation of the drilling mud into liquid and solid phases comprises a casing (1) with inlet (2) and outlets (3, 13) for separated phases and electrodes placed inside it, one of them being connected to a negative pole of a direct current source (8) and the other to its positive pole. The electrode connected to the negative pole of the direct current source (8) is executed as a screw (4) provided with a cylindrical (5) and a conical (6) successive sections. The casing (1) serves as an electrode connected to the positive pole of the direct current source (8) and has, correspondingly, a cylindrical (10a, 10b, 10c) and a conical (11) section. The outlet (13) for the solid phase of the drilling mud is situated on the butt-end side of the conical section of the casing (1). The device is provided with a reservoir (14) for collecting the solid phase of the drilling mud connected with the outlet (13) in the casing (1) for the solid phase of the drilling mud.
