Abstract:
A device for performing maintenance/inspection of a main rope on the basis of an operational result, the device provided with a controller for controlling the operation of an elevator, wherein the controller has a service recording unit for counting the number of times the main rope passes through a pulley when an elevator cage moves between floors as a passage count for each of a plurality of regions of the main rope and recording the passage count as the operational result, and an alerting unit for variably controlling the rope speed during passage through a visual inspection location in accordance with the result of comparing the passage count of each of the plurality of regions on the basis of the operational result when a maintenance inspector visually inspects the main rope.
