Abstract:

Using the disclosed device for eliminating N2O, in which a plurality of gas ducts (1) and catalyst-filled layers (2) filled with an N2O decomposition catalyst are each arrayed in alternation, wherein gas ducts (1) that are adjacent with catalyst-filled layers (2) therebetween each comprise a gas introduction pathway (11) and a gas emission pathway (12), and each gas duct is provided with a valve (3) that sequentially opens in accordance with the degradation resulting from changes over time of the N2O catalyst and that cumulatively increases the operating value of the catalyst-filled layer, valves (31, 32) are opened in accordance with the changes over time following the start of N2O elimination processing, cumulatively increasing the operating value of the catalyst-filled layer (2).
