Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for estimating a location of a receiver and a method therefor. A location estimation device according to an embodiment comprises: a reception unit for receiving information regarding a plurality of beams radiated at different radiation angles from a transmitter; a radiation pattern reading unit for, on the basis of the information regarding the plurality of beams, reading pieces of radiation pattern information respectively corresponding to the plurality of beams; and a location estimation unit for comparing the pieces of read radiation pattern information with each other and estimating the location of the receiver on the basis of a result of the comparison.
