Abstract:
An estimation criteria information recording unit (19) records, in an estimation criteria information storage unit (13), estimation criteria information that contains, in associated form: keywords extracted from the item name of individual production items, for which the work results for individual steps in a production process are stored; and both the step route indicating the sequence of execution of each step in the process for producing the production item, as well as the work time required for each step. An acquisition unit (21) extracts keywords from the item name of a new production item and acquires, from the estimation criteria information stored in the estimation criteria information storage unit (13), the step route and work time associated with the keywords that match the extracted keywords. An estimation unit (23) estimates the load man-hours required to produce the new production item on the basis of the acquired step route and work time for each of the steps.
