Abstract:
The device (1) according to the present invention for exchange between currency (C) and a gaming chip (G) having, on the exterior surface thereof, a color or indication that represents the value of the chip, is provided with: a currency insertion slot (211); a currency scanning unit (2160) which acquires currency information and authenticity information of the currency inserted from the currency insertion slot (211); an inserted currency value display unit (232) which displays the amount of currency acquired by the currency scanning unit (2160); a gaming chip storage part (215) which stores gaming chips (G) by type thereof; a gaming chip dispensing part (216) which dispenses, from the gaming chip storage part (215), a gaming chip (G) corresponding to the currency amount acquired by the currency scanning unit (2160); an extraction part (217) in which the dispensed gaming chip (G) is placed; and a user recognition unit (22) which recognizes a person executing the exchange.
