Abstract:
Provided is a device for feeding a fixed amount of powder capable of stabilizing the powder flow rate and continuously feeding the powder in steps of a predetermined amount without causing the powder to attach to and accumulate in a powder flowing portion of a flow rate adjusting member and also capable of preventing gas from being mixed by entrainment with the feeding powder. The device for feeding a fixed amount of powder comprises: a casing (10) equipped with a powder inlet (11) and a powder outlet (12); a metric rotating body (2) including a plurality of powder containing chambers (20) provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction; and a driving mechanism (M) for rotationally driving the metric rotating body (2). An expansion chamber (13) is formed at a position in the casing (10), from which the powder fed from the powder inlet (11) into the powder containing chambers (20) of the metric rotating body (2) is discharged, and is maintained at a lower pressure than the powder inlet (11) by sucking power acting from the powder outlet (12). Each of the powder containing chambers (20) is configured so as to repeatedly change the states thereof along with the rotation of the metric rotating body (2) in the order of an expansion chamber free state, a first closed state, a powder inlet opening state, and a second closed state.
