Abstract:
A device for forming perforation for separation, comprising an edged rotating body (2) having a circular slitting blade (1), a bearing rotating body (4) having a bearing peripheral surface (3) against which the circular slitting blade (1) abuts, the edged rotating body (2) and the bearing rotating body (4) being arranged to interpose therebetween a perforation forming position (6) where perforation is formed on an article (5) being continuously conveyed, and recesses (7), which is provided on the bearing peripheral surface (3) of the bearing rotating body (4) at predetermined intervals in the direction of rotation and against which the circular slitting blade (1) cannot abut, for formation of non-cut portions so that a perforation (8) for separation which is composed of alternate successive cut slit portions (8A) and non-cut portions (8B) is formed in the perforation forming position (6). The bearing rotating body (4) is provided to be adjustably movable relative to the edged rotating body (2) in the direction of a rotational axis, and the non-cut portion forming recesses (7) on the bearing rotation body (4) are shaped to have a width in the direction of rotation varying in the direction of the rotational axis of the bearing rotating body (4), so that relative movements of the bearing rotating body (4) in the direction of the rotational axis vary the width of the non-cut portion forming recesses (7) in the direction of rotation to make the ratio of the formed cut slit portions (8A) to the non-cut portions (8B) variable and adjustable.
