This device for forming a slit in bone-in meat is equipped with: a clamp tool (14) for gripping a piece of bone-in meat; a slit-forming blade (16) for forming a slit in the bone-in meat; and a conveyance unit for moving the clamp tool along a horizontal direction while the slit-forming blade is inserted in the bone-in meat.
