Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for generating electric energy by means of wind power and/or water power. The device consists of at least one impeller (45), along the circumference of which a plurality of vanes (2) are disposed, with wind or water forces acting on said vanes. The impeller (45) is thus set into rotary motion about a shaft (4) that is directed to the ground. The respective insides (12) of the vanes (2) comprise at least one flow pocket (11). The outsides (13) of the vanes can also comprise flow pockets (10). Said flow pockets can have an S-shaped design, for example. Moreover, it is possible to provide the vanes (2) with a plurality of flow pockets (10, 11). To this end, the flow pockets (10, 11) can be attached behind one another, for example, or on different sides (12, 13) of the vanes (2). The vanes (2), the impellers (45) and the flow pockets (10, 11) can be connected to one another at the installation site by means of suitable connecting elements. In addition, a plurality of impellers (45) can be disposed on top of one another about a common axis and thus form an impeller unit. A plurality of impellers (45) or impeller units, together with a diesel engine (25) and an electric motor (22), for example, can drive a common electric generator (27) by means of a specific coupling device (26).
