Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for generating a digital signal representative of a programmed carrier frequency fc modulated by a baseband digital signal comprising a sequence of input symbols. The device (1) comprises a modulation unit (10) configured to receive the baseband digital signal and to output the modulated digital signal, on the basis of the baseband digital signal. The modulation unit (10) comprises a lookup module (20) comprising a pre-stored lookup table (24) associated with a stored carrier frequency fc'. Based on the lookup table (22), the lookup module (20) is configured to associate, with each input symbol, a sequence of kp periods of a modulated signal representative of a carrier wave at the recorded carrier frequency fc' modulated according to the input symbol.
