Abstract:
The invention concerns a truck tractor hitching device comprising at least a drive wheel (2g, 2d) suspended to a chassis (5) via an axle (9g, 9d), including means (22g, 22d, 20g, 20d, 24g, 24d) for directly linking the axle (9g, 9d) to at least a wheel at the central plate fitting (10) transmitting a longitudinal horizontal component of the drawbar pull and enabling the relative vertical displacements of said axle (9g, 9d) relative to the central plate fitting (10). The invention also concerns a truck tractor equipped with such a hitching device and is applicable in particular to light-chassis vehicles such as heavy tricycles or quadricycles.
