Abstract:
The invention relates to a device which is used to identify wear on the friction lining of a motor vehicle clutch. The inventive device comprises a measurement block (10) which is connected to an information-processing system (24) and which is intended to be fixed to a clutch pedal in order to measure the clutch-release force on the pedal. Moreover, said measurement block comprises a force or pressure sensor (16), a memory element (20) and, for example, a position or displacement sensor which is used to measure the variation in the force applied to the pedal as a function of the course of the pedal.
