Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for in-situ repair of a cable insulation layer in the deep sea, the device comprising a frame, wherein underwater electric wheels are respectively mounted at four corners of the bottom of the frame, and a seabed sediment landfill device and a seabed sediment suction device are mounted on the frame and above the underwater electric wheels; a cable insulation layer repairing mechanism is fixedly mounted inside the frame, arc-shaped fixing blocks are on the frame and on two sides of the cable insulation layer repairing mechanism, and a cable pick-and-place mechanism is mounted at the bottom of each arc-shaped fixing block; and an underwater high-pressure air device, an underwater glue device and an underwater water pumping device are further fixedly mounted on the frame. The repairing of the cable insulation layer can be conveniently performed, and can be directly carried out underwater without being transported onto land, which is both time-saving and labor-saving, achieves hidden operation, and protects the safety of operators and national security.
